The NSW Nurses and Midwives' Association (NSWNMA) is the registered union for all nurses and midwives in NSW. It represents the industrial interest of nurses employed under all awards and agreements registered in this state, both public and private.
The NSWNMA has approximately 59,000 members and is a branch of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF), as well as being an affiliate of Unions NSW and the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU). Members of the NSWNMA are deemed to be members of the NSW Branch of the ANMF.
NSWNMA is a union that provides quality representation to a growing number of active members who see the Association as the vehicle for their own empowerment. We work to be recognised by nurses, midwives and all others as a positive contributor to a fairer society. Read about the benefits of membership: http://www.nswnma.asn.au/members/benefits/
